I used Mudbox for creating the highest level version of this model, the image I posed before. Then, I converted all details into Normal map. It's kind of similar concept to Bump map by making low models seem higher in details than they really are when rendering.
Honestly, I really don't like making hands... anyway... I intentionally made this model for being a lesson for my modeling class that is coming this fall:) - I'm working on its texture...
